Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Partnerships to lead our efforts in establishing and managing strategic alliances within the technology sector. This role will focus on partnerships with Technology Services companies, Strategic Partners, Private Equity and Venture Capital firms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, partnership management, and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnership Development
• Identify, acquire, and establish strategic partnerships with Technology Services companies, Strategic Partners, Private Equity and Venture Capital firms.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with SSI’s business objectives.

• Sales Strategy and Execution
• Drive sales growth by leveraging partnerships to expand market reach and enhance revenue streams.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies tailored to each partnership.
• Set and achieve sales targets for partnership-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

• Go-to-Market Strategy
• Create and execute go-to-market plan for overall partnering strategy, ensuring alignment with overall sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive awareness and engagement for partnership offerings.

Engagement Models
• Design and implement engagement models to facilitate collaboration and drive mutual value with partners.
• Develop training programs and onboarding processes for new partners to ensure effective integration and alignment with SSI's goals.

• Partnership Enablement
• Enable partners through the provision of resources, tools, and support to optimize their effectiveness and drive sales growth.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to assess partnership performance and effectiveness.

• Assessment and Optimization
• Conduct regular partnership assessments to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with partners to refine and optimize partnership strategies based on performance data and market trends.

• Performance Tracking and Reporting
• Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.

• Relationship Management
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations to collaborate and drive mutual success.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing concerns and providing solutions to enhance partnership value.

Key Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Professional Experience: Proven track record in Business Development and/or Net New Sales leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience building and developing partner relationships.
• Experienced in sales roles at software development and technology services firms.
• Sales Leadership: Hands-on player/coach experience with leadership skills to build and lead a high-performing sales team.
• Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic Acumen: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Able to drive multiple partners and accounts simultaneously, each at different stages and complexity.
• Experience prospecting for new business, qualifying leads, conducting and preparing presentations and closing deals.
• Ability to travel to client and partner sites as needed.
